Note 1: Just because your vehicle passes smog in CA does not mean it was built according to CA standards. It can make a difference in which carb you need. In California (and other states that have adopted California's smog laws) your vehicle must also pass the "visual" smog test (as well as measuring emissions coming out the tailpipe), meaning the carburetor must be exactly stock, with no modifications for high performance, cut wires, hoses not hooked up correctly, etc.
